Hey! I'm Joo and I am an Art Director and Designer with over 10 years of experience based in Stockholm, Sweden. I was born in Seoul but grew up in San Diego, packed up my suitcase to learn communication design in New York, and worked in multiple cities across the world from NYC to Los Angeles to Seoul to now Stockholm.
I specialize in building brand strategy, creatives and comms and work to help brands and people connect. Currently at Amuse, I am leading the brand team in building the brand platform and identity and ensuring that all creative campaigns adhere to the brand guidelines, from both online to offline channels. I oversee and direct all creative deliverables from social media to the website to our long form video content and manage both internal and external relations for the Amuse brand.
When I’m not solving creative problems, I love to cook, travel, find local hidden cafes and stores, clean, try not to kill my plants, bike and scooter around the city, take photos for the gram and spoil my cat in every possible way. I also have a lowkey obsession with interior design and home decor and live out my interior design dreams by playing Sims on nights and weekends home. If I'm not playing Sims, I'm most likely binge watching cooking, interior design or true crime shows on Netflix.
